Last year’s bonus issue, Eternities of Cats, has been shortlisted for two AML Awards.
First, the issue itself was nominated in the short-fiction collection category.
Second, Jenny Rebecca Rytting’s Sister Wives was nominated for short story.
It’s worth remembering that the other two stories in the collection have already won AML Awards: Melissa Leilani-Larson’s Pilot Program took drama in 2015 and Michael Fillerup’s “The Year They Gave Women the Priesthood” is the title tale of his 2022 winning collection.
We assured you when Eternities of Cats dropped that Jenny’s story was worthy of such lofty company and it seems this year’s judges agree.
