Andi Pitcher Davis, is an artist and musician who lives in Orem, Utah. She is the Art Editor for Dialogue and a member of the Dialogue Foundation Board. “Be Still My Land” was created in collaboration with her family members, Fiddlesticks, and her nephew, Jeff Andersen. Her family has lived in the shadows of impending wildfire for 25 years, with 97% of lodgepole pines long dead, having been ravaged by the pine bark beetle.
